So excited to start something new and pretty. Went with a beautiful fabric choice for the Peppermint Twist SAL. The threads pop off the fabric. Been looking forward to stitching all day. Need to get off this computer and get started.
So sore from teaching a hard exercise class last night. Had a policeman in the class challenge me to a hard work out. Guess who called me whining today about how sore he was. Did I admit to him how sore I was? Of course not, it's a woman thing!
Welcome To My Corner Of The Cross Stitching World!
I love cross stitch, chocolate, tea, exercise and my heating pad under a pile of blankets. I am a little ADD and extremely busy with life so don't always post as I should. I usually only update with new stitching accomplishments but, may try to blog a little more in the near future. HOWEVER, if you are here visiting me, I hope I can make you smile and bring joy to your life even for a brief second.
After all, isn't life a bunch of brief seconds running after each other to weave the story of our life?

2009 Stitching Resolutions
Haven't you heard if you write your goals down and tell someone about it, you are more apt to stick to achieving your goals?
Goal 1: Well, the first week of December was spent organizing ALL my stitching stash. It took me about a total of 12 hours to get it like I wanted. I compiled all my UFO's and as of December 7th, I had 28! What a shame! One project was started when my firstborn was a few weeks old. She is now 18. I told my husband that 2009 would be spent making a dent in the UFO pile. So, along with finishing a few ornie exchanges and a RR, I completed a few UFO's and as of this date, I am now down to 25.
Goal 2: I have also joined a SAL for the first time. It is Blue Ribbon Designs', "Peppermint Twist". I am excited about it and love the design. I plan to finish it in the next few months.
Goal 3: I plan to stitch at least one Christmas ornie and do some type of finishing to it each month. I have so many designs I want to do. I feel this is the best way to get some of them done.
Goal 4: To slow up on my stitching purchases until I can knock out some of the above 3 goals.
Do I expect anyone to believe Goal 4? That's the ONLY one I did not write down or state outloud to anyone. You think I'm crazy?
